What we see is that the Lord God is said to be upon the “orb” of the earth. It is that sitteth upon the orb ( חוּג, γῦρον, gyrum) of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts: he that stretcheth out the heavens as nothing and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.
